An ode to our National Parks

Hey beautiful people! We’re lucky to live here in Jackson Hole where there are two National Parks in our backyard.

Scenic Picture

While our parks aren’t fully open and operating yet, you can still enjoy them before the mayhem of summer begins. Grand Teton National Park can be entered all the usual routes. You can park the car at the Bradley-Taggart lot and from there enjoy the park roads free and clear of traffic. Opt to ride your bike or walk or run. Just enjoy the glorious snow free road while it’s completely car free.

Park Pic In Winter

Heading to Yellowstone? Awesome. Just be aware that the South entrance from Jackson is still closed as well as the East Entrance from Cody. Load up the car, plan a little roadtrip and head over to the West Entrance or the North Entrance. Check here for more information on road openings and closures in Yellowstone.

Wyoming Moose

So, Friends. Get outside this weekend because all this wraps up on April 24th. If you aren’t with us in Jackson, get online here and check out where you’re closest National Park or National Monument is. Pack up the car. Pack up the kids. Pack plenty of snacks and hit the road. Enjoy the beautiful gift that is our National Park System. Take some pictures and post them out there. We’ll be scanning the interwebs looking for them and drooling over your epic shots.

Customer Testimonials

  • 8 Mile Whitewater
“Took my kids on their first whitewater rafting trip and they had a blast! Rapids were not too big since it's the end of the season, but it was just right for my 8- and 11-year-old. Austin was a great guide and hilarious (although don't believe any of his stories...) The staff was friendly and helpful.”

  • We Will Use Sands Again When We Return
“Absolutely fabulous experience. We did the sixteen mile scenic float plus whitewater and lunch combo. Everything about the trip was outstanding. There were 7 in my party and the whitewater was a little scary for the 9 year old, but the rest of us wish we had this job so we could do this everyday. Our guide was Ben and he was superb.”
